13.00hrs: Pick up from hotel .Transfer to Kuala Selangor (The journey takes around 1.5hours).
Descriptions: Kuala Selangor is a town located at Selangor, Malaysia. “Kuala” means river mouth in the Malay language, and Kuala Selangor is a small town where the Selangor River (Sungai Selangor) meets the sea. Kuala Selangor is a coastal town located about 50 km north west of Klang, 63 km from Shah Alam, the capital of Selangor, about 70 km north west downtown of Kuala Lumpur. Kuala Selangor was the old royal capital of Selangor prior to moving to Klang, to Kuala Lumpur, then to Shah Alam.
14.30hrs: Upon arrival, visit to Bukit Melawati which is also known as Melawati Hill by locals. There is a famous Fort Altingsburg. In the late 1700s the second Sultan of Selangor built his fort on the Hill. The usage is to protect the state from intruders. Canons pointed to the mouth of the Selangor River, where invasions were coming. However, in 1784, the fort fell to the Dutch and was reformed Fortress Altingsburg. A year later, the Sultan managed to recapture the fort in a significant victory. Other than the fort and cannons, visitors can find various other ancient relics on the Hill. The Royal Mausoleum, which is the burial ground for the first three sultans of Selangor is also located on the Hill. There are also troops of loveable silver leaf monkeys (silvered langurs) who like to frequent the road and tree branches in front of the museum.
15.30hrs: Proceed to Wild Eagle Feeding .This is one of the main attraction in Kuala Selangor. You will be able to experience 20-40 eagles flying in sky and waiting the foods from your boatman. Eagle Feeding will be your unforgettable experience in Kuala Selangor. You also able to the large mangrove forest covers the river banks up to the estuary. The weather was warm, blue-skied and sunny.
17.30hrs: Dinner at local seafood restaurant along Kuala Selangor River.
19.30hrs: After dinner, will be a short transfer 15 min to Malay village for fireflies tour. You may see millions of fireflies light up the sky in Kuala Selangor by taking a typical Malay wooden row boat called Sampan. Life jacket is provided.
21.00hrs: Depart and transfer back to Kuala Lumpur. ETA is 22.30hrs.
